I can't wait to go to Hoboken, New Jersey to take a fondant class at the Carlos' Bakery Factory. I am going to use what I learn to make a baseball diamond cake for my cousin's birthday. I am going to make either a 9 by 13 or a square cake. Which should I do? I am going to do a chocolate cake to symbolize dirt. Then, I am going to dirty ice it and put on green fondant. I will then do the bases, the pathways from the bases and the pitchers mound. I am going to try and incorporate some baseballs, bats  and mitts but I don't know how. Any ideas? If you have any other ideas for the cake or suggestions I will gladly take them. Thanks! I will be posting pictures of the cake soon!
